Prayagraj (26) – Maha Kumbh Mela, which is considered to be the largest and largest and most secred in the world, is coming to an end today on February 26, 2025. Today, on the last day, devotees thronged the Sangam from midnight to take a bath. 25 lakh devotees took a bath at Triveni Sangam till 4 am.Due to earlier incidents of stampedes, precautions are already being taken to avoid a repeat of such incidents. For this, the entry of vehicles coming from outside has been banned since the previous day. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reviewed the management from the observation room. Seven major IPS officers have been deployed at seven major directions along the border of Prayagraj.In Prayagraj, this Maha Kumbh festival has come after 144 years. Kumbh Mela will add Rs 3 lakh crore to the economy of Uttar Pradesh. The government of Uttar Pradesh has given a fund of Rs 7500 crore for this Maha Kumbh. The next Maha Kumbha Yoga will come in 2169.In India, this Kumbh Mela is held in four places, namely Nashik, Ujjain, Haridwar, and Prayagraj. Even the prime minister, president, celebrities, and some important people attended this Kumbh Mela. The Uttar Pradesh government had prepared a crowd assessment team to measure the crowd of devotees. 1800 cameras were installed for this purpose. These cameras were used to scan people’s faces.This Kumbh Mela also came into discussion due to many reasons, such as Mona Lisa, who came to sell garlands and received the gift of beauty; IIT Baba; Mamta Kulkarni’s sannyas case; and various sadhus and mahants. There was a traffic jam with queues of devotees who had come for the Kumbh Mela in different directions for twenty-five to thirty kilometers. Many devotees were crushed to death due to the sudden rush and confusion on the railway platform.Small and big industries flourished on the occasion of this Kumbh Mela. Various industries such as tourism business, hotels, accommodation, food, various beverages, worship materials, religious clothes, media, advertising, CCTV, and related technologies have been operating.Forty crore people were expected to visit the Maha Kumbh. But due to the publicity received from the media, the number of devotees is expected to increase to 65 crores. Kumbh Mela was heavily publicized by the media. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called more than a hundred social media creators in Lucknow at the beginning of Maha Kumbh and held a meeting with them. These creators posted Maha Kumbh-related reels and videos on their respective accounts. And appealed to participate in the Kumbh Mela. Also, since this Kumbh Mela is coming after 144 years, devotees crowded more as it is Amrit Yoga.
