India-Pak war after Pahalgam incident, what’s major updates?

After the terrorist attacked Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and the loss of many innocent lives, war between India and Pak started. However after the ceasefire was announced by Pakistan, firing and drone attacks were carried out again in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat late in the evening, but the situation is normal here this morning. No sound of drone or firing has been heard. However, the Indian Army has been put on alert and has been ordered to take strict action on any attack.There is no news of firing on the LOC after 9 pm on Saturday night. The blackout was lifted in Srinagar late at night. No drone activity of any kind has been seen in Srinagar after 9:30 pm. There were continuous drone attacks in Srinagar from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Attempts were made to attack military bases in Srinagar and Budgam and Srinagar airport. But all attempts of attack were foiled. All the drones were shot down in the air. During this time, the sound of explosions kept coming in the air. However, there is no news of any kind of damage.Religious places are being continuously targeted by Pakistan. On Saturday, the Shambhu temple and residential areas of Jammu were damaged in the Pakistani attack. Last night, an attempt was made to attack the Shankaracharya temple in Srinagar with a drone. But that attack was also foiled.A BSF jawan was martyred and seven others were injured in Pakistani firing on the international border in Jammu on Saturday. A senior Border Security Force (BSF) official said that Sub Inspector Mohammad Imtiaz led the way bravely and made the supreme sacrifice. India and Pakistan had agreed on a ceasefire. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced that the Director Generals of Military Operations of both the countries had decided to stop all firing and military action on land, air and sea from 5 pm on Saturday, but the ceasefire was broken by Pakistan a few hours later.Talking on this topic Defence expert Damodar Sharma told, “The decision to stop military action by India and Pakistan was first made public by US President Donald Trump through a social media post and claimed that the talks between the two sides took place with the mediation of America. However, top government sources categorically stated that the outcome was a result of direct talks between the Indian and Pakistani sides and Islamabad had agreed to it without any preconditions, without any postconditions and without any connection with other issues”.The agreement to halt military operations came hours after the armies of both India and Pakistan targeted each other’s installations, the most serious confrontation since India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the morning of May 7 targeting terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).The India-Pakistan decision came after diplomatic efforts by the G7 and several countries, including the US and Saudi Arabia, urging both sides to de-escalate the conflict. Meanwhile, India’s punitive measures announced against Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack, including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, remain in place.India had announced these measures on April 23, a day after the brutal terror attack on April 22. 26 people were killed in the Pahalgam attack. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that there has been no decision to hold talks on any other issue at any other place. The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet on May 12 at 12 noon. Meanwhile, India has made it clear that next time any terrorist attack will be considered an act of war and the punishment will be much more than this time.
