There will be a triple-engine government of BJP in Haryana. BJP performed brilliantly in the urban body elections (Haryana Urban Body Election Result 2025) held about five and a half months after the assembly elections. In the urban body elections fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, BJP candidates defeated Congress candidates and made the lotus bloom in municipal corporations and municipal councils.BJP has won nine out of 10 municipal corporations in the state, while an independent candidate has won the election in the newly formed Manesar Municipal Corporation. This independent candidate has also won the election by seeking votes in the name of Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit.BJP got a spectacular victory in the urban bodies (Haryana Nikaya Chunav Result 2025) when Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini completed one year of assuming the responsibility of CM for the second time. Congress could not even come close to victory in any urban body of the state. BJP also held 5 municipal councils in the state, while in 23 municipalities, eight candidates of BJP won, while 15 independent candidates won.Out of 23 municipalities, BJP contested the election on the lotus symbol in 14, while in nine municipalities, neither BJP nor Congress fielded any candidate.Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, calling it the victory of the people of the state, said that now the triple-engine government in the state will work nonstop with speed. When Urban Bodies Minister Vipul Goyal informed the assembly that the lotus flower had bloomed in most of the urban bodies of the state, all the MLAs applauded by thumping the tables.Out of the 10 municipal corporations of the state, BJP has got the biggest victory in the country in Faridabad. In Faridabad, which is under the influence of Union Minister of State Krishnapal Gurjar and Urban Bodies Minister Vipul Goyal, BJP’s Praveen Batra Joshi won the election by 316,852 votes, which is the biggest victory margin in the country. Earlier this record was in the name of Ghaziabad’s BJP mayor, Sunita Dayal.Sunita had won the civic elections by a margin of two lakh 87 thousand votes. BJP’s Ram Avtar has won the elections in Rohtak Municipal Corporation, which is under the influence of former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda. Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda could not make his party’s Surajmal Kiloi win the elections here.BJP’s Selja Sandeep Sachdeva in Ambala, BJP’s Rajrani in Gurugram, Independent Dr. Indrajit Yadav in Manesar, BJP’s Suman Bahamani in Yamunanagar, BJP’s Rajiv Jain in Sonipat, BJP’s Praveen Popal in Hisar, BJP’s Renubala Gupta in Karnal, and BJP’s Komal Saini in Panipat have won the mayor elections in the municipal corporation.Talking on this topic political analyst Priya sehgal said “Looking at the spectacular victory of BJP in Haryana, it is clear that the party’s hold in the state has become very strong. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, BJP achieved great success in the urban body elections, which is the result of the political strength and strategy of the party. BJP captured 9 out of 10 municipal corporations, while Congress was nowhere in the contest, which shows its falling popularity and internal crisis.”BJP already had mayors in seven of the 10 municipal corporations in the state. This seat had become vacant after Ambala Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma became MLA from Kalka on a BJP ticket. Shakti Rani Sharma had then become the mayor on the ticket of the Haryana Jan Chetna Party led by her husband, former Union Minister Vinod Sharma. Now the BJP has hoisted the flag of victory here.”
