The tournament can start from 16 or 17 May. The new schedule can be released on 12 May with the official announcement.Talking on this topic Cricket coach Anil Bhardwaj said, “All the foreign players except former England captain Jos Buttler and South African fast bowler Gerald Coetzee were present in the training session of Gujarat Titans. This time the team of Gujarat Titans looks very strong and balanced. Their three batsmen – Sai Sudarshan (509 runs), Shubman Gill (508 runs), and Jos Buttler (500 runs) are in the race for the Orange Cap and are among the top run scorers of the tournament.”GT has shown a great game in this season of IPL 2025 and they have won 8 out of 11 matches. Gujarat Titans are currently at the top of the points table. Royal Challengers Bangalore have also won the same number of matches but GT has a better net run rate. Two of their remaining three matches were to be played at home. They have to play against Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium and one against Delhi Capitals in Delhi.
