The US has refused to hold Russia responsible for the Ukraine war. The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for the past three years, and a resolution was passed in the United Nations General Assembly for a ceasefire. It was decided that Russia should withdraw its troops from Ukraine.In a vote held at the time, the US refused to hold Russia responsible for the attacks on Ukraine. Due to this, America has differences with its allies in Europe.Many countries have been shocked by this decision taken by the US regarding its rival Russia. 65 countries, including India, did not participate in this voting process of the General Assembly. Along with the United States, Israel and Hungary also voted against the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly. In the case of the Ukraine-Russia war, European nations voted against Russia’s aggression at the United Nations General Assembly. But America did not vote against Russia in this General Assembly. However, it is known that the US is trying to stop the Russia-Ukraine war.An appeal for peace has also been made in that regard. The United Nations General Assembly had proposed a resolution to end the war in Ukraine. However, Russia was not held responsible in the resolution.For this reason, the United Nations General Assembly rejected the US resolution.The UN Security Council approved a resolution to end the war in Ukraine. In this resolution, it was said that Russia should withdraw its forces from Ukraine. The tension between America and Europe was confirmed in this conference. Donald Trump has fired a verbal cannon at the president of Ukraine regarding the war. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has been called a dictator by US President Trump. Volodymyr Zelensky then went on to say that Trump is under the illusion of false information provided by Russia. For the past three years, Russia has been attacking Ukraine, and its repercussions are not only affecting Ukraine but also threatening the stability of the world. Russia’s attacks have been retaliated against by Ukraine, causing huge loss of lives and property in both countries.
