In a powerful speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), former President Barack Obama showed his support for Kamala Harris mentioning that America is now ready for her presidency. He stood by Kamala’s side and endorsed her at a time when the election is near and a crucial phase is going on for the presidential candidates and Kamala Harris is making her final push against the Republican candidate Donald Trump in the presidential race.
Barack Obama’s speech at this time not only motivated Harris but also energised the crowd. Obama praised Haaris’s qualification to lead US and laid stress that the nation is now ready for a new chapter and a better story. Obama in his speech mentioned, “we are ready for President Haaris and Kamala is ready for the job”. His words received support from the audience and huge applause for Harris, who can become the first woman and first black and south asian person to become the president of the US.
In his speech, apart from praising Kamala Haaris, Obama criticised Trump’s leadership and mentioned his presidency as chaotic by saying that the nation and its people don’t need 4 more years of his administration. With the election just few weeks away, Obama support towards Harris instilled energy in the party, posing Harris as the leader of America in these challenging times.
This year in the US presidential election, everyone’s eye is on the two big face that is Republican Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. However amid these two names, there is one more face which is suddenly gaining limelight and he is the independent presidential candidate Robert F kennedy Jr.
According to the sources Kennedy is planning to back off his make from the election and endorse Trump, but then the question arises if the republican party would offer kennedy and others a position in white house after getting elected. 70-year-old Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has political background and is the son of late Democratic politician Robert F. Kennedy. Earlier, he started his presidential campaign as a democrat challenging Ex US President Joe Biden for the nomination and is known for spreading vaccine misinformation along with bizarre pronouncements and spreading health related conspiracy theories.
Hence, the US Presidential election can take any direction before the results get declared. However the surveys that are being released showcase less chance of Harris as President.
