Pydhonie SI confirmed ‘True to Life’ that the Mumbai Police arrested two individuals on
Monday after discovering a dead body inside a suitcase at Dadar railway station. The
accused were attempting to dispose of the body by carrying it on a train, according to police sources.
Luggage Check Leads to Shocking Discovery
While speaking with ‘True to Life’, Senior Inspector of Pydhonie, Balkrishna Deshmukh, “Both the persons are arrested in murder case, and they have been remanded to police custody till 12th of August. The relationship of the girl with the boy has not been revealed yet, and the investigation is going on in the right way. We can’t reveal the name of the accused before the investigation is done.”

The RPF (Railway Protection Force) and GRP (Government Railway Police) were
conducting a baggage-checking operation when they found the body inside a suitcase. Upon questioning, it was revealed that the murder had taken place within the jurisdiction of the Pydhonie police station. Subsequently, the investigation was handed over to the Pydhonie police, who then apprehended the suspects. According to a police officer, the victim and the accused had a dispute over a girlfriend.
A Dispute Turned Deadly
The police investigation uncovered that the murder stemmed from a dispute between the
victim and the suspects over a female friend. Sources revealed that the prime suspect, Jai
Praveen Chavda, had previously clashed with Arshad Ali Sheikh over this matter.

What makes this case particularly complex is that both suspects and the victim are deaf and speech impaired. They communicated using sign language, which posed a unique challenge for the police.
