New Delhi: In an era where corporate life is defined by relentless work hours, strict deadlines, and complicated office dynamics, finding balance has become an essential yet challenging pursuit. Addressing these prevalent issues, the Gita-o-logy workshop, hosted by the PEACE Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), provided much-needed relief for over 250 professionals on Sunday, November 17, at the India International Centre, Lodhi Road.
The workshop, attended by participants from leading organizations such as Dalmia Group, RailTel, IndianOil, Accenture, and Genpact, aimed to infuse timeless wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita into modern work-life strategies. Led by disciples of Divya Guru Ashutosh Maharaj, the event focused on equipping professionals with tools to balance personal and professional spheres effectively.
Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bharti, co-incharge of the program, opened with a thought-provoking session on workplace toxicity, using on-stage activities to illustrate how such environments impact physical and mental health, extending beyond the office into employees’ personal lives.
Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti, the Principal in charge, inspired the audience with teachings from the Bhagavad Gita that accentuated the importance of embracing one’s swadharm—one’s unique purpose and innate abilities. She stated, “No one can steal your potential, your worth, your talent… Even if others take credit for your ideas, your distinct abilities will set you apart. Stay focused on your swadharm and success will manifest.”
While speaking with True to Life exclusively, she reflected on her own journey with the Gita, saying, “Bhagwad Gita cannot be understood with intellect, it is lived through spiritual evolution, through the Brahm Gyan based meditation. The first time my mentor, Divya Guru Ashutosh Maharaj ji, gave me a book based commentary of the Geeta, he unveiled this truth to me. That was years ago, and today, I live the Geeta, sing its symphony, and decode its toughest verses in the depths of meditation.”
The workshop concluded on a high note with Bhakti Yog Nasha, led by Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti. Participants came together, dancing joyfully to spiritually inspired songs, fostering a sense of unity and renewed energy.
Feedback from attendees underscored the workshop’s practical and emotional impact. A Dalmia Group participant described it as “a needed respite from the daily chaos of corporate life,” while an IndianOil senior manager praised the rational approaches for stress management and resilience-building. A RailTel employee shared, “Gita-o-logy helped me connect with my inner self,” and an Accenture marketing executive noted the workshop shifted their outlook on stress and anxiety.
Gita-o-logy showcased how age-old wisdom can seamlessly blend with contemporary needs, offering guidance and actionable tools for professionals to navigate their careers with newfound clarity and confidence.
