Shocking Assault on Government Official’s Daughter
In a gruesome incident in Uttar Pradesh, a government official’s 22-year-old daughter was gang-raped by three men in a moving car. The perpetrators included an ambulance driver and two tea vendors, one of whom had a stall near the hospital’s Psychiatry Department where the victim was undergoing treatment.
Terrifying Ordeal
The victim, seeking to charge her mobile phone, used Sathyam Mishra’s tea stall. Exploiting her vulnerability, Mishra suggested charging her phone in an ambulance nearby. Once inside the vehicle, the assailants gave her a drink spiked with intoxicants, threatened her with violence, and sexually assaulted her. Despite her pleas, they heartlessly dropped her off after the assault.
Swift Justice
The victim filed a complaint, leading to a prompt response by the police. Within 12 hours, all three accused, including Mishra, were apprehended near Sunni Inter College. West DCP Rahul Raj confirmed the FIR under IPC sections, including gang rape (376D), wrongful confinement (342), administering drugs (328), voluntarily causing hurt (323), and criminal intimidation (506).
Exploiting Medical Condition
Exploiting the victim’s medical condition, Mishra took her to a dhaba in Barabanki, where the assault occurred. The criminals filmed the crime, leaving the victim traumatized. The FIR was registered at Wazirganj police station, and the police recovered the car used in the crime, two mobile phones, and cash worth ₹19,830 from the arrested accused.
